"Sautéed Squid with Chorizo"
2 tbsp olive oil
100g squid, prepared and sliced into rings
100g Chorizo, cut into 1cm chunks
100g rocket salad leaves
salt and pepper, to taste
Must have accessory - Weber® Style Vegetable Basket
If your squid has not been prepared for you, pull away the tentacles and head from the body. Using your fingers, remove the quill and wash out the ink. Pull out the wings, remove the skin and wash.
Set up your barbecue for grilling at a medium direct heat.
Position the Weber® Style Vegetable Basket over the direct heat and add the oil. Once hot add the squid.
Sauté the squid rings for 2 minutes and then add the Chorizo and cook for a further 4 minutes.
Remove from the heat.
Stir through the rocket salad leaves, season and serve.
