BBQ's well  -  Soundly built but with one design fault. The door falls open when trundling into position, the magnets are not powerful enough. I've replaced the bottom one and it seems to hold now. I don't like the diagrammatic instructions, it takes for ever to work them out.

Great BBQ  -  Really pleased with the build quality of the product. When it comes to needing spares I hope they will be available. Providing you take your time putting it together should be no problem. But you need thin fingers to locate some of the screws. Cooks superbly and heat evenly distributed.

Great bbq - very happy  -  It took me a while to decide on this model and I am happy with my choice. It was delivered on time and was also easy to put together.

Very pleased  -  After reading the instructions carefully I found building it straightforward, although a second pair of hands came in handy. I am very pleased with the appearance and quality but have yet to use it enough to judge its performance (waiting for some warm weather).

Excellent  -  We bought the older style Monarch in Spring 2013 as our first gas grill and it has been brilliant! We've used the side burner less than we thought we would, but overall this is highly recommended. Prices seem closer to Weber this year, though.

Great BBQ  -  Had difficulty building it as two screws already in were in the wrong place, but I figured it out and the rest went well. The only problem or maybe it is a design flaw, is the cover to the separate burner. It in the way, I couldn't use my large pan, but I am going to take it off to see if its better

Easy to assemble and a joy to cook with  -  Firstly- thank you to the BBQ Centre for their friendly service and no nonsense advice. The BBQ was easy to assemble, especially using the video @ Broil King website (but note that the UK version does not have a rear brace bar). My first Gas BBQ but very pleased with the results; bring on summer.

Affordable Quality BBQ  -  I was torn between the better known "W" brand and Broilking, glad I decided on Broilking Monarch, easy to assemble, with the right tools. A dream to cook on & easy to clean. Small issue with the removable warming rack, as it restricts access to the rear of the grill when in place.

Real quality shows through.  -  It took me two hours to put it together, no help needed, as long as you have a bench and the right tools. The tip on lining up at stage 2 / 3 was very useful. I have only used the barbeque once, but I can already see the difference in quality over the normal Far Eastern & Aussie alternatives.

A well made Canadian Product delivered promptly.  -  The assembly pretty much as described in the instruction detail. 2 people are required for 2 elements of build stage 1 and stage 5. Tip; offer the completed stage 2 to the base 1 to check hole alignment before you complete stage 3. Had to buy Butane regulator not supplied only Propane supplied.

"Curried Chicken Salad"

A refreshing lunch for a hot summer day.
4 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
1 1/2 cups seedless grapes, halved
1 head romaine lettuce, washed and torn
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp lime juice
1/4 cup almonds, toasted
seasonal fruit for garnish

Grill the chicken breasts on MEDIUM heat for 6 minutes per side. Cool the chicken, then slice it into bite size pieces.

Mix together the mayonnaise, ginger, curry powder, honey and lime juice. Toss the chicken with the dressing, and spoon this mixture onto a bed of prepared romaine lettuce. Garnish with grapes and any seasonal fruit of your choice (strawberries, or blueberries), and sprinkle with toasted almonds
