The Weber Summit E470 is a premium gas barbecue with 4 Stainless steel burners. The barbecue has been re-designed from the 2010 E470 model, now featuring a tuck away rotisserie, perfect for spit roasting all kinds of meats. New cast aluminium end caps, an intergrated sear station with new stainless steel door trims. The E470 gas bbq also has new illuminated control knobs with cast aluminium end caps.
The Summit E470 offers 48,800 BTU-per-hour input, 12,000 BTU-per-hour input flush-mounted side burner, 8,000 BTU-per-hour smoker burner and stainless steel smoker box, 10,600 BTU-per-hour infrared rear-mounted rotisserie burner. Spit fork rotisserie attachment with heavy-duty motor, snap-jet Individual burner ignition system. 3/8"/9.5mm diameter stainless steel rod cooking grates.

Fantastic for flash searing steaks to perfection, Weber's Sear Station boost burner creates a temporary high heat zone for searing the outside of meat creating beautiful caramelised grill marks and sealing in juices. After searing, slide the meat to a cooler zone of the grill to finish cooking - the "Sear and Slide" technique.
When searing is complete, turn off the Sear Stations boost burner, allow the sear zone to cool, and the Sear Station becomes usable grilling space. Traditional infrared sear burners can only be used during the brief searing process; they are not usable grill space during the rest of the cooking process.
