Just about perfect Had a Char Broil BBQ which was great & lasted 10yrs until the burner failed & I couldn't get a replacement (No model number from B&Q branded item). Since then 2 steel "Chinese made" in 4 seasons. This is a newer version with excellent heat distribution & I should be able to get spares. Reply from Bedfordshire Barbecue Centre: The Char-Broil is not made by Broilking and they are not the same company, the Broilking will have spares available for many years.

Super Broilking Duo! Many years ago we purchased a Broilking Sovreign barbecue which is still going strong for family occasions and therefore we had no hesitation in purchasing a Broilking Gem for the two of us on our balcony. Excellent service from Bedfordshire Barbecue Centre.

Quality entry-level barbie We wanted a smaller Broil King for our cottage in Devon & the Gem was ideal.
Large cooking area (2 if you count the warming rack), s.steel burner & die cast (not sheet steel) oven.
Our larger Broil King at home has lasted a decade & has only needed a replacement burner which was easily obtained.

Excellent product, easy assembly and great results The BBQ was delivered on time directly to our holiday home in Spain. Delivery service was excellent. The bbq was easily assembled with the detailed instructions in about an hour. It cooks great and the receipy book gives some really good ideas to try. had to use a gas lighter as ignighter difficult
Reply by BedsBBQ - The first few times you use the main burner, the ignition from the pietzo is not 100%, this is due to engineering greese on the burner causing a ground issue with the earth, once the bbq has been up to temperature a few times the greese is burnt off and the ignition will operate correctly.
